Handwritten: On the Physical Act of Journaling

Today’s Daily Post prompt: “Handwritten:  When was the last time you wrote something by hand? What was it?”

Easy answer:

journal page

I usually brainstorm by hand in this journal, but then I actually do the heavy writing on computer.   To learn a little more about my actual journaling practice, take a look at this video I made a few months ago:

Postscript:  I apologize if I am mispronouncing “Moleskine” and “cahier.”

  1. Great Video! I think I do something similar, I don’t like a diary as the format is a bit to restrictive as some days I have loads of different things I want to record and keep track of others I don’t have a lot. So a blank notebook in which I can write, stick, highlight, doodle is my preferred option. 🙂

  2. Thank you. I must have a blank book because my thoughts and ideas are all over the place. It is sometimes hard to find unruled journals, but it is worth the effort. Get yourself a pack of highlighters or colored post it tabs too so you can tag and relocate your ideas. Thanks for stopping by.
